SUBWAY DOUCHERY : The Miles Davis of Cork County
Mmmmmm, yyyeeeaaah.. There is nothing like the smooth sounds of bag pipes when you’re trying to enter the subway. The way it drowns out your iPod or cell phone and makes you lightheaded because those piercingly sweet sounds throw off your equilibrium. All this scene is missing is a few cocktail tables, a dirty martini, and a spot light on the Miles Davis of County Cork.
Although this gentleman is almost a week early for St. Patrick’s Day (a.k.a. The Drunken Subway Apocalypse) it’s nice to get in the mood. On St. Paddy’s Day, bag pipes are the sexual equivelant of D’Angelo’s voice. Before swiping that metro card enjoy yourselves, cut loose, and enjoy the non-existent rythms of those pipin’ bags!
