SUBWAY DOUCHERY : The Wild Card
Oh dear…what is going on with this fella? I’m not sure if he’s sick, stretching, or sleeping. I don’t want to get too close, so as not to be in the blast radius if he erupts. I also don’t want to go too far away, so as not to miss a giant slab of humanity slinging around the train car. With all that greasy long hair, combat boots, and all black attire, he’s capable of anything.
My fantasy? He blasts into a heartfelt rendition of Danzig’s Mother. At first, everyone thinks he’s just another train crazy singing for coins. But as he picks up momentum and truly finds his voice, we are all transfixed by his passion and pin point accuracy channeling Glenn “The New Jersey Hurricane” Danzig. Not unsimilar to those black guys on the French subway singing Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzNlmyLoZJ4A) Then a woman in similar goth dress, walks up to him and kisses him on the mouth. They get married right there in front of us and immediately exit the train.
